Ground and aerial, shaped by two places

SailMarSol Visual & Aerial is an independent practice working from Key West, Florida, and Lake Lotawana, Missouri. I photograph on the ground and from the air, and I choose the view that suits each subject.

Key West is where I work most often, and the subtropical coast, shifting tides, and bright everyday streets shape how I see light and structure. Lake Lotawana brings a different rhythm: wooded shorelines, local homes, and the changing daylight of the Midwest seasons.

Working in both places means I learn each setting on its own terms. The subject and its surroundings guide the work, whether the frame is a ground-level scene or an overhead view of the land and water.
